My grandson Deegan was in full-blown teething mode when I gave this to him (May 23rd, 2009). Mothers (& Nanas) know this one...everything goes in their mouth. And true to form, as soon as I gave Deegan his blanket, it went in his mouth....not just the chewable part, all the parts! He loves his teething blanket....carries it everywhere he goes. I think its because it is soft, colorful, chewable and just his size! I haven't found any 'negatives' (yet) and will advise should any occur.
